About FabLayer

FabLayer is a scored directory of 3D-print designs. It tracks popular models published on Printables and ranks them on popularity, recency, and trajectory so you can find designs worth printing.

How ranking works

Every six hours, FabLayer's collector pulls the most popular models from the public Printables API. Each design is scored from its likes, download and print counts, and how recently it was published or updated. Scores are recomputed on the same schedule, so rising designs surface quickly.
